You can rent a VPS from most hosting companies online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their main advantage is that they are way cheaper to rent than a dedicated server.<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For running your trading terminal, its ideal to find a company that offers windows servers. This is because most trading software, <gwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3\" id=\"gwmw-15606137969051708176518\">are designed<\/gwmw> to run on windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A good company that provides windows VPS servers is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accuwebhosting.com\/ref\/2088-4-3-5.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Accu<\/a><gwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3\" id=\"gwmw-15605022289644965648935\"> .<\/gwmw> Their windows VP<gwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3\" id=\"gwmw-15605030108290907301870\">S<\/gwmw> offers start from as low as $6 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have your VPS set up, you can login to it using the IP address provided, on the remote desktop connection program on your windows computer or other third party apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pros of renting a VPS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You have full control of your VPS like on your own PC. You may even run your Metatrader strategy tester in the server.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It may be more value for money, especially if you are running more than one terminal. You may also run other programs in the same VPS without paying any additional costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No limitations on expert advisors. You can run EAs that require external DLL files without problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cons of renting a VP<gwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1\" id=\"gwmw-15605023634775458542303\">S<\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Might seem a bit complex for beginners, to initially set up and manage the environment. To use this feature you must have an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mql5.com\/en\/users\/tonny\">mql5.com account<\/a> with the required subscription fee available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature can be accessed by right clicking on your account number in the navigator window of your Metatrader.<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pros of Metatrader virtual hosting feature<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Easy to set up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can enable and disable the server and also make a few changes right from your Metatrader<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cons of Metatrader virtual hosting<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>May turn out more expensive because each instance of Metatrader, requires its own virtual server to be rented. The servers on Metatrader, cost around $10 per month, so three servers for three terminals translates to around $30 per month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The user has no visual access at all to what is going on in the server.
